What You'll Do: As a Science Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging, hands-on science lessons that inspire students and promote a deep understanding of scientific concepts. You will foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels encouraged and supported. Utilising a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities, you will stay current with scientific advancements and incorporate them into the curriculum. Your role will also involve encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of inquiry among your students. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging science lessons. Use innovative teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum. Participate in school activities and contribute to the wider school community. Requirements: We are looking for a candidate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification, and a strong subject knowledge in science. Previous teaching experience is preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to inspire and motivate students. A commitment to continuous professional development and learning is crucial. An enhanced DBS check is required.
