Job Title: Secondary SEND TA
Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for positively impacting the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking a committed Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special secondary school. Responsibilities: Provide support to students with special educational needs, including challenging behaviour and sensory needs, within a classroom setting. Promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Work closely with teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and adjust teaching approaches to accommodate students' unique requirements. Assist with managing classroom dynamics and behaviour strategies. Offer targeted support to students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Requirements: Experience in a Special Educational Needs setting, especially with students who exhibit challenging behaviour or sensory needs. A positive and patient attitude with a proactive approach. Reliability and dedication to offering consistent support to students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the classroom. Working Hours: Full-time position, Monday to Friday. Hours: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, with an early finish at 3:30 pm on Fridays. Salary: £93.48- £95.29 per day.
