Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education require a Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in a secondary school in Barking. Location- Barking Start Date- ASAP Duration- Ongoing The Role: This role is based in a mainstream secondary school, which is commutable from Barking Station. The job will involve working on a one- to- one basis with a 15-year-old boy who has SEMH needs. The child may present challenging behaviour, and this role requires strong de- escalation skills. The ideal candidate for the role will have experience working in schools with teenagers who have challenging behaviour, but candidates who have previously worked with adults or children with SEND needs will also be considered.
