SEN Teacher (KS3, MLD Focus) Location: Uxbridge Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Salary: Pay to scale We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our supportive and dynamic team. This is a long-term, full-time role focusing predominantly on teaching a KS3 Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) class. The role also includes delivering English and PSHE lessons to other class groups. Key Responsibilities: - Teach and inspire a KS3 MLD class, fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment. - Deliver English and PSHE lessons to other groups, adapting content to suit varying needs and abilities. - Utilise provided medium-term planning to prepare and deliver high-quality, tailored lessons. - Support and nurture the individual progress of all students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs. - Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure an integrated and cohesive educational experience. What We’re Looking For: - QTS or equivalent teaching qualification. - Experience working with students with moderate learning difficulties (MLD) or other special educational needs. - A genuine passion for SEN teaching and the ability to motivate and inspire students. - Strong planning, organisation, and classroom management skills. - Flexibility, patience, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
