Axcis are pleased to partner once again with a unique special needs school in Wiltshire who are looking for several teaching assistants to work with them for the new school year. This school caters to a wide variety of needs and learning disabilities ranging from autism to those in wheelchairs and in need of personal care. Most of these roles will be full time, Monday to Friday, but we can still consider part time. -We are ideally looking for people that have experience in special needs, this does need to be from a school, but can be from other areas. -If your experience is limited to one particular diagnosis such as autism this is fine as the school can offer training to help expand your knowledge so you can confidently work in any of their classrooms -We can still consider people who have not worked with special needs children before, but have the right attitude and empathy that such a role requires. -Candidates will need to have a enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one. All jobs are in school hours of 8:30 - 3:30 and term time only in most instances these fixed term roles can go permanent.

If you are interested, then please contact Emma Court on 0117 4722400 | Ext: 2004 and click on the apply button.

If you are not interested in this role but know someone else who might be, don't forget that we offer £150 in shopping vouchers if you refer a friend to us and we place them in the job. For more details, contact your local Axcis office.

This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.

Axcis is an equal opportunities employer and as such we do not discriminate based on age, gender, disability, race or any other equal opportunities criteria.

The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

As such, you will be required to provide an up to date DBS, or be prepared to allow Axcis to process one on your behalf, in addition to other mandatory compliance checks in line with the DfE guidelines (for details please see our website).

Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short-term and long-term assignments in addition to permanent positions.

You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role.

Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.

View the disclaimer

Contact: Emma Court

Telephone: 0117 4722400 | Ext: 2004
