We pride ourselves on providing a warm and inclusive environment for both our pupils and staff. #### The Role We are seeking an **experienced and passionate SENCO** to join our leadership team. This is a pivotal role that will involve overseeing the provision for pupils with SEND and ensuring that every child receives the support they need to succeed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage the school’s SEND provision, working closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies. - Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor their effectiveness. - Coordinate and deliver staff training to ensure a whole-school understanding of SEND. - Maintain accurate records of SEND pupils and track their progress. - Support teachers in differentiating curriculum delivery for SEND pupils. - Collaborate with parents and carers, providing regular updates and acting as the key point of contact. - Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and other relevant legislation. #### About You To succeed in this role, you will be a highly motivated and experienced professional with a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs. **Essential Qualifications and Experience: ** - Accredited SENCO qualification or equivalent. - Significant experience working as a SENCO in a school setting. - Comprehensive knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation. - Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies. - Strong organisational and communication skills.
