Job Title: SEND TA - September - Stockport
Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school for children with autism and associated social and communication needs. The school caters to students aged 7-18 years and provides a supportive and enriching environment for both primary and secondary education. Qualifications and Experience: - Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with autism. - Understanding of autism and associated social and communication needs. - Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs. For this particular role you need to have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, as the school is not accessible via public transport.
