Job Title: SEND Teacher
About the School: We are recruiting for a SEND teacher on behalf of our client, a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Barnet. This exceptional school is dedicated to providing a fantastic education to its SEND students and prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, adaptable and differentiated education, tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. This role requires a creative, empathetic, and patient individual who can inspire and motivate students with a range of neurodiversity’s. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons. • Develop and implement individual education plans for students with SEND. • Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers. • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure effective support for all students. • Liaise with external professionals to support students educational and personal development. Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. • Proven experience in teaching children with SEND in a primary school setting. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. • Commitment to ongoing professional development. Desirable: • Additional qualifications or training in SEND. • Experience in using assistive technology to support learning. • Knowledge of therapeutic strategies and interventions for children with SEND.
