Location: Headstone, Harrow, Greater London
Hours: Monday - Friday (flexible schedule)
Salary: £180 - £300 per day, based on pay scale (with potential for a permanent position)

About the Role:
As an SEND teacher in our reputable and inclusive school, you will have the chance to work within a dynamic and diverse setting, where no two days are the same. This position requires a flexible and adaptive approach to teaching, as you design and implement individualised educational plans that cater to a wide range of learning needs and disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with SEND
- Assess and record student progress, setting realistic and challenging goals to ensure educational development
- Establish a safe and stimulating environment where pupils feel confident to explore and express themselves
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech therapists, to enhance the support provided to students
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in the learning process
- Participate in CPD (Continual Professional Development) and staff meetings to continually refine and enhance your teaching practice
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience in teaching students with SEND is highly desirable
- The flexibility to teach across different subjects and adapt to varying learning needs
- Strong commitment to the ethos and values of our school, including a passion for making education accessible for all
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff and parents
- Valid driving licence (essential for accessibility to the school location and potentially for off-site educational activities)
