Job Title: SEND Teacher

Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled SEND Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join our dedicated team. This role involves working with students across different age groups who have a variety of needs, including ASD, Social, SEMH needs, ADHD, and other learning and developmental challenges. Your role will be to create engaging, accessible, and individualised learning plans that help each student achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of SEND students.
• Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans in collaboration with support staff and specialists.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that promotes students’ social, emotional, and
academic growth.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive
support.
• Assess, record, and report on students’ progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Work closely with families, providing regular updates and insights to support students' learning and
development at home.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of SEND practices within the school.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven experience working with SEND students across different age groups, ideally in a specialist setting.
• In-depth knowledge of SEND teaching strategies, behaviour management, and effective use of
interventions.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education.
