Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Axcis are are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Teacher to join an impressive primary school in Greenford on a maternity cover basis. This role will involve teaching a small, nurturing class of up to 15 children in Years 4, 5, and 6 within the primary schools upper KS2 ARP unit.

Key Responsibilities:
-Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for children with additional needs in upper KS2 (Years 4, 5, and 6)
-Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
-Work closely with support staff and external professionals to provide tailored support to each child
-Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring individual learning goals are met
-Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and the wider school community
Requirements:
-QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
-Experience teaching in an ARP, SEN, or similar setting preferred
-Knowledge of upper KS2 curriculum (Years 4-6)
-Strong understanding of differentiation for children with additional learning needs
-Enhanced DBS on the update service
