Job Title: Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a SEND school in Bolton from September. The successful candidate will provide tailored 1-2-1 support to students with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their individual goals. This role requires patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children who have additional needs. Key Responsibilities • Provide 1-2-1 support to students with special educational needs. • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities. • Support students in their social and emotional development. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students. • Maintain accurate records of student progress and any issues that arise. • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. Requirements • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a special needs setting. • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. • Experience in providing 1-2-1 support to students with SEND. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs. • A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
