Teaching Assistant (SEND Support) TA1, Taunton, Somerset £12 - £15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? What You’ll Do: • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with a variety of SEND needs. • Assist in creating an inclusive, engaging classroom environment, helping students with both academic and social development. • Build trusting relationships, boosting students’ confidence and emotional well-being. • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to tailor learning to each child’s needs. What We’re Looking For: • Previous experience with children or young people, ideally in SEND, care work, or youth support roles. • Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference in vulnerable children’s lives. • Strong teamwork and communication skills. • Ability to calmly support students with challenging behaviour.
