Job Title: College Teaching Assistant (SEND - Outdoor Learning Focus) Location: SE12 Salary: £95 per day We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic College Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) at a college in SE12. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to work with students in an outdoor learning environment, helping them engage with nature and develop essential life skills. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with SEND students, providing tailored support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals. With a focus on outdoor learning, you will assist in planning and delivering lessons that encourage hands-on, experiential learning. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and group support to SEND students, focusing on outdoor learning activities. Assist in planning and delivering lessons that integrate outdoor and experiential learning. Support students' personal, social, and educational development in an inclusive environment. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to adapt learning strategies to meet students' needs.
