Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant (SEND Support) Bristol, BS5 £12 - £15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Are you passionate about supporting young learners in a vibrant, inclusive environment? This primary school is located in the heart of Bristol we offer exceptional learning spaces such as a Forest School and a specialised SEND Resource Base, where children flourish through nature-based and individualised learning. We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant who is empathetic, resilient and eager to work with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our students are energetic and curious and we need someone who is patient, enthusiastic and ready to make a meaningful impact in their development. What We’re Looking For: • Previous experience with children or young people, ideally in SEND, care work or youth support roles. • Patience, compassion and a genuine desire to make a difference in vulnerable children’s lives. • Strong teamwork and communication skills. • Ability to calmly support students with challenging behaviour.
