Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Hours: Full time
Pay: £83.40+ (depending on experience)
Join our supportive primary school community in Streatham Hill as a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant, making a meaningful difference for children with PMLD and ASD.
Responsibilities:
- Support children with PMLD and autism in accessing the curriculum.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to implement individualised learning plans.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Use assistive technology and communication strategies to enhance student interaction.
- Track student progress and communicate with the teaching team and families.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with PMLD and autism (preferred but not essential).
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to inclusive education.
