Job Title: Mathematics Teacher
Axcis Education are working with an alternative provision who are looking to appoint a mathematics teacher to teach curriculum content from KS2-KS3. The alternative provision are welcome to both primary or secondary qualified teachers. The position is to deliver targeted mathematics intervention to small groups of pupils (4-6), who are working below aged related expectations due to the impact of Social, emotional, mental health they have experienced. This is a full-time permanent position for the successful candidate. Early Careers Teachers are welcome to apply to this position. For this role, you will be paid against main pay scale.
The school are looking for a teacher with the following credentials:
- Primary/Secondary Qualified Teacher (with QTS) with Mathematics as a specialist subject area.
- SEND experience (either in mainstream education or SEND education)
- A passion for working with pupils who suffer from SEMH
- Experience planning individual targets for SEND pupils.
- Knowledge and understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP)
