Job Title: Speech, Communication and Language TA - September
Axcis Education are working with a special school in Totnes who are seeking to appoint a support mentor to work in KS2 and KS3, to support children with communication difficulties in a fantastic, special school in the Torbay area. You will be working on a full-time or part-time basis, working Monday to Friday. Your pay will be in the range of £80-95 a day. The position is to start in September. Because of their communication difficulties, at times, the pupils may struggle to engage with their learning and communicate their emotions. Classes are no bigger than 10 pupils, and you would be supported with 2-4 additional support mentors to implement the children’s provision plans based of targets from their EHCP. The special school have amazing resources and outstanding facilities to address the individual needs of each child to help them to succeed in their journey through education. For this position, you will have experience of interacting with children with SEND. You will also have a fantastic work ethic, with a drive to support children with special needs.
