Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 1
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join an Ofsted rated good school in Bolton. A successful candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and care to our pupils, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the classroom teacher in preparing and delivering lessons. • Support individual and small group activities, both in and out of the classroom. • Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. • Provide assistance to pupils with their learning, ensuring they understand tasks and stay on track. • Support the emotional and social development of pupils, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere. • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources. • Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and any concerns. What we look for in a suitable candidate: • A passion for working with children and supporting their development. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. • Basic understanding of child development and educational practices. • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment. • Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is desirable but not essential.
