Have you previously worked in a care setting, giving students or residents personal care? Are you a hardworking and compassionate individual who perhaps is looking for an exciting opportunity within SEN education? This could be the role for you!! Axcis education are working with a number of primary schools across West London to recruit for teaching assistant roles for the start of the new academic year. The roles are to start ASAP on a temporary basis. You will need to be able to work 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday. The roles will involve, but not limited to, working with children with additional needs, including Autism, PMLD and sometimes with challenging behaviour. Some settings also students who have medical needs and require medication administration or personal care. Team Teach qualifications and/or experience is desirable but not essential. The candidate, must have some SEND experience and be willing to provide personal care if required. The candidate should be hardworking, flexible and a team player. The candidate will be required to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who require extra care.
