Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEN
A dedicated all-through special needs school are looking for Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join a supportive team. If you’re passionate about working with children with special educational needs, there are a variety of positions available! Position Details: Role: Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Special Needs School Start Date: Immediate Contract: Part-time and Full-time opportunities available Age Groups Supported: KS1 to KS3 Learning Levels: Reception to Key Stage 1/2 Key Responsibilities: Supporting students from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 3, primarily those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and more complex learning needs. Providing tailored assistance to children functioning at early learning levels, from reception to Key Stage 2. Working closely with teachers to help students achieve their learning goals and promote their personal development. Creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment for students with a range of needs. Requirements: Experience working with children with ASD is essential. Experience supporting children with complex needs is beneficial. A caring, patient, and adaptive approach to working with children with different learning abilities.
