Location: Pontefract Start Date: ASAP Position: Full-time, Monday to Friday Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pay: £95 per day Are you passionate about supporting young learners and eager to make a difference in their educational journey? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant primary school in Pontefract. This is a full-time position, requiring commitment from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, offering a daily rate of £95. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. • Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help. • Prepare classroom materials and resources. • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. • Supervise students during breaks and lunchtimes. • Support with administrative tasks as required. Qualifications and Skills: • Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is desirable. • A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or childcare are a plus.
