Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant (TA) – Mainstream Secondary School, Barnet (EN5) Are you passionate about education and eager to make a real difference in young people’s lives? Axcis Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Barnet (EN5). We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to support students in Years 7 to 9. Key Responsibilities: Providing one-to-one and small group support to students in Years 7-9. Assisting students with varying needs, including those with additional learning requirements. Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. Helping students to develop confidence and achieve their academic goals. The Ideal Candidate Will: Be enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting students’ learning and development. Have previous experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally in a classroom setting. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Be flexible and adaptable to the needs of individual students. Hold an Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one). What We Offer: A supportive and welcoming school environment.
