Job Title: BEHAVIOUR MENTOR

About the Role
We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our dedicated team at a SEND school in EN3. This full-time position is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong commitment to supporting young people in overcoming barriers to learning and personal development.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
Provide targeted support to students with SEND, focusing on social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
Develop and implement personalized strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
Work closely with teaching staff, support teams, and families to create a cohesive support network for each student.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment where students can achieve their full potential.
Deliver one-on-one and small group interventions to address individual student needs.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in working with children or young people with SEND and/or challenging behaviour.
Patient, resilient, and dedicated to helping students succeed.
An excellent communicator, able to build trust and strong relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
Ideally qualified with relevant experience or certifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant Level 2/3, Psychology, or Behaviour Support), though a strong background in working with SEND students is equally valued.
