Job Title: College SEN Tutor
College Sen Tutor Axcis are currently working with vibrant SEND School in Leicester, who are looking to recruit a SEND Tutor plan and teach lessons, work with small groups and individual students. prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports. help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn. manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress. . ideal SEND Tutor is qualified to teach students with additional needs and may also have some experience or ability to teach up to Level 1 IT skills and some related qualifications. .To deliver innovative, timely and effective teaching, learning and assessment, which enhances the progression opportunities for students to achieve the intended destinations through effective planning, implementation and record keeping. .Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants and other staff for the benefit of students and ensure effective embedding of key aspects of the curriculum i.e. English and maths, citizenship and safeguarding, into all aspects of learning. Requirements: • Hours: 08:30-15:30 • Days: Monday – Friday • Qualified to work with students • Familiar to engage with SEND pupils. • Enhanced DBS on the update Service or willing for Axcis to apply for one on applicant’s behalf (£44.74) • Experience working with college students • Experience with complex learning needs, autism, sensory impairment and challenging behaviour You'll be warmly welcomed by our entire staff, and you'll receive full support from the school's senior leadership team.
