Job Title: Experienced Teaching Assistant, Mainstream Primary SEND Support
Axcis is on the search for teaching assistant with experience of SEND support to work at a primary school in Birmingham on a full-time basis. This wonderful primary school has a fantastic opportunity working with a year 4 autistic pupil whose behaviour can be challenging. The pupil is working at a level which is significantly below their peers, they are based within the classroom but has their own timetable as well as the option to leave the classroom whenever necessary. The pupil also has personal care needs and will be going swimming one a week with school. This is a 1:1 support role on a full time basis, working 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, the following experienced is required: - Supporting individuals with complex Autism - Ability to support an active child - Personal care needs This is a full-time role on an ongoing basis, the school is looking for the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
