Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant
A special needs school in Harrow is seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner or an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM) with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
Support young learners in an EYFS setting within a specialist school environment.
Provide tailored support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Assist with learning, play-based activities, and social development.
Work closely with teachers and therapists to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment.
Requirements:
CACHE Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Early Years Education.
Experience supporting children with ASD and SEMH needs.
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to working with young children.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Start Date: ASAP
