Job Title: Full time SEN Teaching Assistant, Yate, September start.
A fantastic special school in Yate are looking for a teaching assistant to join their team on a full time long term basis from Monday 2nd September 2024 for the full academic year working Monday to Friday 08.30-3.30. This school caters for SEND pupils aged 7-16 years old and there are opportunities to support in both the primary and secondary classes dependant on your skill set and previous experience. Pupils at the school have a range of SEND needs, including Autism, Speech and Language difficulties, Down Syndrome, PMLD, SEMH and can display challenging behaviour. Experience in schools is ideal but not necessary as personality is everything. They are looking for enthusiastic members of staff that are willing to get stuck in, be adaptable, reliable, hardworking and resilient. If you are outgoing, enjoy sports, music, drama or Art then they would be also interested in perhaps you leading extra curricular classes to, if you wanted. The school is very accessible for both those on public transport in addition to having a large staff car park if you drive! The pay is between £95.29 per day to £105.00 per day dependant on experience and you will be paid weekly, one week in arrears every Friday.
