Axcis Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants to work in a range of mainstream and SEND settings across Stockport. Whether you’re experienced in the classroom or new to education, this could be the perfect opportunity to support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) while developing your own skills and confidence in a supportive environment. Your Responsibilities Will Include: - Offering 1:1 or small group support to students with a range of needs such as Autism, ADHD, speech and language challenges, or SEMH difficulties. - Assisting students with their academic, social, and emotional development. - Working alongside teaching staff to tailor lessons and activities to individual needs. - Supporting behaviour management and promoting a positive classroom environment. - Assisting with personal care where necessary and helping students develop their independence. - Encouraging inclusion, participation, and communication among pupils.
