Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant, Sandwell
Location: Sandwell (B69)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Full Time)
Pay: £89 per day (PAYE), dependent on experience and qualifications
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded primary school in the Sandwell area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted, one-to-one and group support for pupils with SEND
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated activities
• Help manage behaviour in line with the school’s policies and support strategies
• Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback to teaching staff and parents
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes self-confidence and independence
Requirements:
• Experience working within a primary school setting is highly desirable
• A good understanding of SEND and the ability to adapt approaches to suit individual learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEND support would be advantageous
