Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant - Rednal
Location: Birmingham, B45 Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE), depending on experience Start Date: ASAP We are working closely with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Birmingham (B45) who are looking to appoint a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in helping children access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. What the role involves: • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEND needs • Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored interventions and support strategies • Supporting pupils with speech and language difficulties, ASD, ADHD, and other learning needs • Helping to manage behaviour in line with individual support plans • Contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom environment The ideal candidate will have: • Experience working in a classroom setting is highly desired • A proactive and compassionate approach • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff • A genuine passion for supporting inclusive education This is a fantastic role for someone looking to build on their SEND experience in a rewarding school environment where every day brings new opportunities to make a difference.
