Job Title: ASD Teaching assistant
Teaching Assistant (Autism) Location: Dagenham Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £85+ per day (PAYE) Are you passionate about supporting autistic students in their learning journey? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Dagenham. The successful candidate will provide tailored support to autistic students, helping them thrive in an inclusive and nurturing educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and small group support to autistic students. Assist in adapting and delivering lessons to meet the individual needs of students with autism. Support students in developing social, communication, and emotional regulation skills. Help students to stay on task, engage with learning, and participate fully in class activities. The ideal candidate will have: Experience working with autistic children in a primary school setting. A patient, understanding, and adaptable approach to supporting students with autism. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
