Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Job Vacancy: 1:1 Teaching Assistant for Child with Autism (ASD)
Location: Primary School in Greenford, Ealing
Start Date: January
Axcis Education is looking for a dedicated and energetic teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a young child with Autism at a primary school in Ealing. This full-time role is ideal for someone with experience working with children with Autism and who can manage challenging behaviour effectively.
The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging the child throughout the school day, ensuring they stay focused on learning activities. The child will be taught in a dedicated classroom, and you will have access to on-site sensory rooms to support their individual needs. This role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to build a strong, trusting relationship with the child to encourage participation in a safe and supportive environment.
Role Details:
-Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 am - 3:30 pm
-Based in a primary school in Ealing
-Start date: January

Requirements:
-Previous experience working with children with Autism
-Ability to manage challenging behaviour and ensure the child’s safety
-Strong communication skills to build trust and encourage learning
-High energy, patience, and empathy to meet the child’s needs
-Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
