Job Title: Primary Teacher
Are you a dedicated and experienced teacher with a passion for supporting children with diverse needs? A mainstream primary school in Camden is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join the team and lead the ARMS (Additional Resourced Mainstream) unit. Position: ARMS Unit Teacher Location: Camden, London Start Date: September Interviews and trials will take place this week Key Responsibilities: - Teach and support students in the ARMS unit, focusing on Key Stage 1 or 2 - Develop and implement individualized learning plans for children with ASD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, and more complex needs - Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment - Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 or 2 - Experience working with children with ASD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, and complex needs - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Commitment to ongoing professional development and inclusive education Benefits: - Opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children with additional needs - Supportive and collaborative work environment - Professional development opportunities If you are passionate about inclusive education and have the skills and experience to make a difference, we would love to hear from you!
