Job Title: Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties Teaching assistant
On behalf of our client in Barking, Axcis Education require a PMLD teaching assistant for a full- time role. Location- Barking Start Date- 14th October 2024 Duration- Ongoing throughout the 2024- 25 academic year. Pay Rate- £95- £110 per day Working Hours- 8: 30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., Monday to Friday Your New Job: This SEND school has an inclusive and warm atmosphere and it received an ‘Outstanding’ rating from OFSTED in its most recent inspection. This role will involve supporting a Year 5 student one to one. The child is autistic, and he also has a physical disability, so he will require help with mobility and personal care. The pupil uses PECS to communicate, so the successful candidate for this role will have previous experiencing of using this in a classroom setting. The student may also exhibit challenging behaviour, so Team Teacch training is a distinct advantage.
