Job Title: Primary, 1-to-1 SEND Teaching Assistant, Kingstanding
We are looking to appoint a primary 1-to-1 SEND teaching assistant in the Kingstanding area immediately. This role will require you to have previous experience supporting young people with special educational needs, experience from any ages will be acceptable. We are looking for a dedicated, passionate, and caring SEND TA to work on a 1-to-1 basis with a year 1 child who has autistic, has learning difficulties and difficulty in building rapport with other children but has a loving approach to adults. This role will be working on a 1-to-1 basis to help them in their learning & development as they have missed out on some milestones and is struggling to access the curriculum. This role is a full-time, long-term role for a minimum duration of the academic year 2024 to July 2025 and could be extended further if the school and the successful SEN teaching assistant are happy to do so. You will be working Monday to Friday for the hours of 08:25am till 3:35pm. This role will offer weekly pay, which will be paid a week-in-arrears and this will be on a daily rate starting from £95.29 per day dependent on your experience & relevant qualifications related to the role.
