Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in Poplar. The successful candidate will provide invaluable support to students with a variety of SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum and reach their full potential in an inclusive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEN.
Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring adaptations are made to meet the needs of individual students.
Support students in developing their social and emotional skills.
Help students to stay on task, engage with learning, and participate fully in school activities.
Work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to develop personalised learning plans and monitor progress.
Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all students.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience of working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a school setting.
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting students.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A passion for education and helping students overcome barriers to learning.
