Job Title: Tutor
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated 1:1 Educational Tutor to join our team in Waltham Forest, E17. This rewarding role involves supporting secondary-age students in their learning journey, particularly in basic Math and English, while also assisting with career development and future planning. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 teaching in basic Math and English to young learners. Assist students with homework and guide them in using online learning platforms effectively. Help students explore potential career paths and provide practical advice to achieve their goals. Support students in creating CVs and preparing for employment opportunities. Participate in educational and PEP (Personal Education Plan) meetings to track and review student progress. Offer guidance in identifying suitable employment or further education options. Ideal Candidate: Passionate about supporting young people and committed to helping them achieve their academic and career aspirations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students. Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or providing career guidance, especially in Math, English, or related fields.
