Job Vacancy: Maths Teacher (SEND) - PRU Location: Ladbroke Grove, West London Working Hours: 08:30-16:00, Monday to Friday Are you a skilled and adaptable Maths teacher with a passion for helping students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities? Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated Maths teacher to join a vibrant Pupil Referral Unit in Ladbroke Grove. If you're committed to making a significant impact on students aged 13-17 with complex needs, we want to hear from you! The Role: You'll be teaching small classes of up to 8 students, ensuring lessons are engaging and tailored to individual learning requirements. Key Responsibilities: -Plan and deliver Maths lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student. -Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student progress. -Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of educators and support staff. -Adjust teaching approaches to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Requirements: -Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. -Proven experience working with SEND students, ideally in a PRU or alternative provision setting. -Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with students, staff, and parents. -Patience, flexibility, and a problem-solving mindset. -Able to deal with challenging behaviour -Have an enhanced DBS on the update service Why Join Us?
