Job Title: SEND Experience Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant - Haringey Full-Time, Long-Term Start Date: September 2024 Axcis Education is partnering with an inclusive primary school in Tottenham, seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team for the upcoming academic year. The role involves supporting children within the school’s on-site SEND provision, focusing on pupils with SEN and behavioural needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be vital to the educational development and well-being of young students. Requirements: • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification. • Minimum of one year’s experience in a primary school environment is preferred. • Strong ability to build relationships with children and act as a reliable classroom support. • Must hold or acquire a DBS Key Responsibilities: • Provide personalised 1:1 support to pupils with SEN and complex needs. • Assist pupils experiencing classroom difficulties, encouraging engagement with the curriculum. • Tailor support and approaches to meet individual children's needs. • Maintain records of pupils’ progress and communicate updates to the class teacher.
