Job Title: SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT
We are looking for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in the SE28 area. This full-time role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and eager to support students in their learning journey. Key Responsibilities: Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities to ensure a productive learning environment. Student Engagement: Provide individual or small group support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals. Resource Preparation: Help prepare teaching materials and resources, ensuring the classroom is ready for each lesson. Supervision: Supervise students during breaks, lunch, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and promoting positive behavior. Inclusive Education: Work with students with diverse learning needs, contributing to an inclusive classroom where all students feel supported and valued. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is beneficial but not required. Qualifications: A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, but a strong commitment to supporting children's education is most important. Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A proactive and flexible approach is essential.
