Job Title: SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic school in the DA8 area. This full-time position is ideal for someone passionate about education and eager to contribute to the academic and personal development of our students. Key Responsibilities: Classroom Assistance: Support the class teacher in delivering lessons, managing classroom behavior, and creating an engaging learning environment. Student Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, particularly those who may need additional help to reach their full potential. Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing and organizing teaching materials and classroom resources. Supervision: Oversee students during break times, lunch, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and promoting positive behavior. Inclusive Education: Work with children with special educational needs, helping to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is beneficial but not essential. Qualifications: A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, but a strong commitment to supporting children's education is the most important. Skills: Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Adaptability and a proactive approach are key.
