Job Title: SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT
We are looking for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our thriving school in the SE15 area. This full-time role is perfect for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on students' learning and development. Key Responsibilities: Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom management, and maintaining an engaging learning environment. Student Assistance: Provide individualized or small group support to students, particularly those who need extra help to reach their full potential. Resource Preparation: Help prepare educational materials and set up resources for lessons. Supervision: Supervise students during break times, lunch, and other activities, ensuring their safety and promoting positive behavior. Inclusive Education: Work with students with special educational needs, helping to create an inclusive classroom where every student feels supported and valued. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational role is advantageous but not required. Qualifications: A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, but a strong dedication to supporting children's education is essential. Skills: Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A proactive and adaptable approach to challenges is key.
