We are looking for 2 SEND Teaching Assistants for a primary school setting in Erdington. These roles will be 1-to-1 roles in a fantastic mainstream school locally. The school has a fantastic ethos of supporting and investing in their staff, offering the same opportunities to their existing permanent staff as they do their staff who have initially joined through us at Axcis Education. You will be given an in-depth induction, allowing you to feel supported in your role from day one, through the training given by both the school directly and through us at Axcis Education, who will continue to give you free training opportunities for your own time to upskill yourself. These roles are both working on 1-to-1 basis with the support of the amazing SENCo and existing SEND support team who will support you in learning and the child’s own learning needs, style and preferences, helping you to succeed and feel at ease in helping the child learn & grow in their personal & educational development. These positions will be: > Full-time, working Monday to Friday, during term-time only. > You will be expected to work 08:30 until 15:30. > You will be paid a week in arrears (weekly) with pay rate starting from £95.29 per day in-line with your experience and qualifications. This role will be for a minimum of the academic year until July 2025. However, the school welcome their staff to apply for permanent in-school roles and they likely may retain you into the following academic year, dependent on school staffing needs.
