This school caters to pupils with severe or profound learning difficulties, many of whom also have autism, and offers an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. Key Responsibilities: -Teach and support pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), or autism, across various age ranges. -Plan and deliver tailored lessons and individual education plans (IEPs) that reflect the diverse needs and -backgrounds of students. -Assess student progress, prepare review reports, and liaise with parents and professionals during reviews and meetings. -Lead and support a class team, ensuring all staff can fulfill their roles effectively, and provide high-quality personal care for students. -Develop behavior support plans and implement strategies in accordance with school policies, including leading the use of physical interventions when necessary. -Collaborate with education, health, and social care professionals to ensure high-quality provision for pupils, integrating therapy goals and support into their educational plans. -Participate in staff development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s curriculum.
