Job Title: Qualified PMLD Teacher Location: Greenford, Ealing Contract: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, until the end of the academic year Salary: Dependent on experience Start Date: ASAP Axcis are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated qualified PMLD Teacher to join a dedicated and experienced team in a SEND primary school located in Greenford, Ealing. This school caters to pupils with severe or profound learning difficulties, many of whom also have autism, and offers an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. Key Responsibilities: -Teach and support pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), or autism, across various age ranges. -Plan and deliver tailored lessons and individual education plans (IEPs) that reflect the diverse needs and -backgrounds of students. -Assess student progress, prepare review reports, and liaise with parents and professionals during reviews and meetings. -Lead and support a class team, ensuring all staff can fulfill their roles effectively, and provide high-quality personal care for students. -Develop behavior support plans and implement strategies in accordance with school policies, including leading the use of physical interventions when necessary. -Collaborate with education, health, and social care professionals to ensure high-quality provision for pupils, integrating therapy goals and support into their educational plans. -Participate in staff development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s curriculum.
